Stericut Tail Docker

The Stericut is a portable, gas heated instrument that provides a more humane alternative for docking tails. The burner blade heats to approximately 800 degrees F, which cauterizes as it cuts. This results in a clean, sealed docking of the tail, eliminating bleeding and reducing the need for medications. Reduces mortality and abscesses due to infection and is less traumatic to the piglet than most conventional methods. The easy to use Stericut features a gas burner that is easily refilled from a standard butane canister. Each refill will provide approximately 90 minutes of operation.
