Farmers Depot has been notified by the manufacturer of a potential safety hazard associated with certain captive bolt cartridges. This issue may pose a risk to both the operator and the equipment.

Our records indicate that some customers may have purchased affected products. A recall has been issued for specific brands and lot numbers.

Please review the list of affected products and lot numbers below and check your inventory immediately.

• Set it aside in a safe location
• Complete and submit the recall form below to report the items in your possession

We are currently working with the manufacturer and will communicate next steps, including product collection and credit, as soon as they are confirmed.

We understand this recall may impact your operation. If you require replacement cartridges, Farmers Depot has the following options available in green, yellow and red cartridges.

These products are not affected by the recall, offer consistent tested performance, and are available for order.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO THE 8 ITEMS ABOVE:

The batch/lot number is 4 characters long and alphanumeric, consisting of two digits followed by two letters.

The items concerned are products whose batch/lot numbers end with the following letters:

N, O, P, Q, R, S or T. For example, 57GP.

You will find the batch/lot number either on the back of the product packaging or, in the case of some older product packaging, on the inside of the lid.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO THE 4 ITEMS LISTED ABOVE:

The batch/lot number is 10 digits long and is also alphanumeric.

It always begins with the letter sequence DAG. An example: DAG24K5950.

The items concerned are products whose batch/lot numbers containbthe following combinations in the first 6 digits:

• DAG24K, DAG24L,
• DAG25A, DAG25B, DAG25C, DAG25D.

You will find this number on the back of the tins/ packs (see the illustration opposite, in the area marked in BLUE).

The item number is always a 7-digit number beginning with a ‘2’. You will find this either on the front of the packaging or, in the case of some older product packs, on the back of the packaging.

All products bearing the relevant item and batch/lot numbers must no longer be used.
