Designed for use in the examination of whole blood in hematology applications, EDTA tubes feature interior walls that are coated with either K2EDTA or K3EDTA. Gel separator forms stable barrier between serum and blood cells. PET plastic construction is virtually unbreakable. Colour coded purple cap indicates EDTA. One specific use is to provide blood for the Alertys OnFarm Pregnancy Test.
